Winter can be a challenge to maintaining our fitness, and our mood – it can seem easier to stay indoors, to read a book, to fold inwards. Whilst it is a lovely time to catch up with our selves and escape the business of summer, it is important to keep active and co-ordinated, to keep good posture and sharp balance, to keep our lives balanced and to keep our immune systems strong, to practise wellness/keeping well.
Nordic Walking can be ideal in the winter, its not so hot, it gets us outside absorbing sunlight and Vitamin D, keeping open and, flexible and strong, interacting with others, enjoying views of the gorgeous winter blue Tutukaka sea, the more vibrant fresh colours of the native bush. It boosts our endorphins.
Here we are mid April enjoying a fabulous walk beside Ngunguru River.
Come and join us, we love to share our activity with new people!
