Sadly, there won’t be any yoga classes this term. Ngunguru Hall is having major renovations to the ceiling which will take a couple of months. We didn’t have much time to let everyone know. Covid is still lurking and it is a good time to develop your own Sadhana / Home practice, you learn so much with enhanced awareness as you move from listening and watching to becoming aware of truely feeling your practice in your body and …you get to practice what you need!
Late Autumn, May is a time for the Self, being aware of the changing seasons, your Vata Dosha, allowing both the light and dark within, so often we adore only the light. The dark gives us a chance to become aware of our energy levels, our wellness, our balance on all levels. Enjoy the opportunity to reach to your Higher Self, to release and be with what is.
Traditional Chinese Medicine involves the Metal Element in late Autumn, the Lung yin channel and the Large Intestine Yang channel. Be creative and curious in your practice stimulating and releasing these channels, giving more balance. The Metal Element recognises our inherent value. Autumn is also a time to build immunity, a routine yoga practice will expand the lungs and balance the digestive system, enhancing wellness for approaching winter and enduring Covid.
