Hatha Yoga

Hatha encompasses many styles of physical yoga, creating balance and uniting opposites. Ha (Sun, hot,active, yang, masculine!), tha ( Moon, cool, receptive, feminine). Hatha can mean wilful or forceful, but yoga should never be forceful, I like to think of Hatha as involving balance and intention, learning to trust ourselves and go mindfully to our challenge point but not beyond our ‘end’ point.
