We resume weekly Wednesday morning walks on October 14, this will be a 10 week term.
We enjoyed a great variety of walks on every Wednesday, throughout Term 3, the weather obliging. A big group of wonderful regular friendly walkers, we fall in step together, despite different walking levels. Some pause to enjoy the views, smell the flowers, take photos, others stride out, managing to walk and talk well!
Term 4, Koanga/Spring is a magical season of new life on the Tutukaka Coast, either at the moana or in the ngahere. Puawhananga/clematis flower of the skies is absolutely stunning, both fragile and prolific, it continues to flower until November.
